Inspectie Verkeer en Waterstaat (IVW) - Transport and Public Works Inspectorate

The Transport and Public Works Directorate oversees compliance and the enforcement of laws and rules governing transportation and water management. Among other things this occurs through inspections, issuing permits and knowledge transfer. The objective of the supervision is to minimise the chance of accidents, environmental pollution and the disturbance of market relations as far as possible.
