GOVCERT.NL constantly monitors hundreds of sources and activities on the internet. As a result we acquire more insight into current threats.
Based on these activities GOVCERT.NL issues timely warnings on threats, such as vulnerabilities of software, outbreaks of viruses and targeted attacks.

Tailored warnings

Constituents of GOVCERT.NL receive tailored alerts that are geared toward their specific ICT environmentand the products they use.
Constituents can be assured that they shall always be informed about relevant threats in a timely manner. The warnings also contain, if possible, practical advice on how to limit the risks associated with the threat.

Examples

  • Constant monitoring of vulnerabilities in ICT products that are used by government organisations and end users. Currently this concerns more than 100 products.
  • Participants receive warnings that are geared toward the ICT products that they use. In case of major risks this occurs via the telephone.
  • Computer users receive warnings about vulnerabilities in commonly used software.

Alerts on Waarschuwingsdienst.nl (Warningservice.nl)

ICT Risk Alert is also available for individual computer users. They receive warnings on vulnerabilities in commonly used software and mainstream viruses. Computer users can register for this service at Waarschuwingsdienst.nl.

Taranis

GOVCERT.NL has a 24/7 watch team that scans the internet for digital threats and vulnerabilities in software and operating systems. Based on the acquired information, GOVCERT.NL publishes various products. We designed Taranis to support the workflow of this task.
