Innovation upon request

Upon request GOVCERT.NL provides special products or services to government organisations. These projects fall outside of the scope of our usual activities and services. The target and the budget are established and determined in advance. Examples of such innovative projects are our participation in the simulation Cyber Storm III and the development of the ICT Response Board.

Cyber Storm III

During the Cyber Storm III simulation in 2010, GOVCERT.NL played a new coördinating role during the simulated cybercrisis which featured a new, complex and cross-border threat. This simulation enhanced the awareness and crisis management skills of organisations which play a crucial role during ICT disruptions. Simulations like Cyber Storm III are essential to further professionalise the response to a large scale national ICT crisis.

ICT Response board

The ICT Response Board (IRB) is a public/private collaboration which issues advice in the event of an ICT crisis. Current participants are telecom companies, energy suppliers, banks and government organisations such as the KLPD, the NCTb and GOVCERT.NL. The IRB is still in a developmental phase.
