Role for GOVCERT.NL in National Cyber Security Centre

The strategy includes, among other things, plans to introduce a Cyber Security Council and a National Cyber Security Centre. Also provided in the National Cyber Security Strategy is the advice to make GOVCERT.NL an integral part of the envisioned National Cyber Security Centre.

Elly: ‘Obviously, I am very proud of the fact that GOVCERT.NL will play a role in the NCSC. During the last ten years, cyber security has been our primary focus and as part of the envisioned centre we can make our contribution to cyber security even more successful, and engage our international network in this success. Secure and reliable ICT is a fundamental interest of our society and economy.’

The National Cyber Security Centre shall, among other things, analyse threats and trends, and provide support during incident response and crisis management.
