Biography

Over the last decade the Senior Criminal Investigator and Special Agent with the United States Secret Service, managed numerous cases as a criminal investigator and conducted successful operations with numerous leaders of foreign law enforcement authorities throughout a successful career of extensive overseas travel for the Secret Service's Investigative and Protective Missions.  Currently, he is positioned in the Cyber Intelligence Section and is responsible for the coordination of intelligence and investigative strategies and operations.

Presentation: Current State of Protecting the Infrastructure

The United States Secret Service will share perspectives on the evolution of their approach to investigations, and will detail the mission focus, strategy, and tactics used in the targeting and arrests of major cyber-criminals. The United States Secret Service will emphasize their unique understanding of long-term persistent investigations and attribution techniques that have led to the capture of criminals highly skilled in operational security and anonymization tradecraft.
