The State of Honey pots Tuesday 16 September, 10:35-11:20, Penn RoomHoney pots are a unique security resource as they are designed for cyber threats to interact with. However, they are still a relatively immature technology that is not well understood. This presentation will attempt to address this matter, by discussing their definition and value, the different types of honey pot and how they can be used, and the current status of research and deployment.
